Nourish Lens is designed to be private by default. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, save, or have access to any of your personal data. All information generated through your use of the Application is stored exclusively and securely on your own device.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

To provide you with a personalized experience, the Application saves the following information directly to your device's local database:

Your Health Goal: Your selected dietary preference (e.g., "Weight Loss," "Diabetic-Friendly") is saved on your device to tailor the analysis of scanned products.

Your Scan History: A log of the products you scan is kept on your device to power the "Food History" and "Nutrient Trends" features.

You are in full control of this data. We, the developers, have no access to this information.

2. Camera Usage

The Application requires access to your device's camera to perform its core function of scanning barcodes and nutrition labels. The camera feed is processed in real-time. Images are not stored by the Application after the analysis is complete.

3. Third-Party Data Processing (Google AI)

To analyze nutrition labels, image data from your camera is sent to Google's AI service for processing. This data is sent anonymously for the sole purpose of analysis and is not accompanied by any information that could identify you or your device.

4. Analytics

We do not collect any analytics. We do not use any third-party tools to track your behavior or your usage of the Application.

5. Data Sharing

As we do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data, we do not—and cannot—share it with any third party. Your data resides only on your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
